Newil&Bau expands to Turku by acquiring Auratum Asunnot and raises new equity in funding round led by Rausanne

Newil&Bau is expanding its operations to Turku by acquiring the business of Auratum Asunnot.

With this acquisition, Newil&Bau’s project portfolio will increase in value to over 650 million euros, of which approximately 220 million euros worth of homes are currently under construction. In connection with the business transaction carried out at the end of December, Rausanne became a 15% shareholder in Newil&Bau. The acquisition will not affect the ongoing or guaranteed properties of Auratum Asunnot, as their responsibilities will remain with the founding developers, Auratum Asunnot Turku Oy and Auratum Asunnot Helsinki Oy, whose ownership will not change.

The personnel transferring from Auratum Asunnot to Newil&Bau will continue to manage the construction, sales, and customer service of Auratum Asunnot’s current projects. The company has ongoing construction projects in Turku and Naantali, as well as properties undergoing annual repairs in Helsinki and Turku. New projects will be developed under Newil&Bau’s supervision in the future.

The companies do not disclose the purchase price of the business transaction.
