Satu found her dream home in Lehtisaaren Terassi

The seaside Lehtisaari offers tranquility and greenery close to services. Satu Saarikoski and her family had been searching for a new home in Helsinki for some time until they discovered Lehtisaaren Terassi. The new apartment was found online: “We first came across Lehtisaaren Torni, but all the apartments there were already sold. That’s when we noticed Terassi in the same block.” The building’s impressive architecture, excellent location, and high-quality materials won them over. Satu and her partner joined the queue for Terassi apartments, and once their new home was confirmed, they sold their old one. “We were immediately ready to move to Lehtisaari and sold our home in Munkkiniemi even before the new apartment was finished. We rented a place in Lehtisaari during the construction and fell in love with the island’s greenery.”

Home is important to the Saarikoski family. A functional layout is essential, and high-quality interior finishes bring beauty to everyday life. Satu is particularly happy with the brightness and tranquility of the apartment. Large floor-to-ceiling windows let in plenty of natural light, and the apartment is well soundproofed. “You can hardly hear any noise from the neighbors or the street,” she says with satisfaction. The large, terrace-like balcony is also important to them, especially in summer, when they can tend to flowers and grow edible plants.

 

 

There are a few details, such as the shower design and kitchen handles, that Satu might have chosen differently, but overall, the apartment’s materials are exceptionally high-quality and beautiful. Satu also values the ecological solutions used in Terassi, such as sustainable materials and the geothermal heating system.
